| You know, the Dr. Pepper people are worrying me. They produce 7UP and you know how 7UP just recently became "100% all natural"? What the heck was 7UP before? And what do they classify as "all natural"? Cause, I gotta say, when I think of natural I think of the old days when people used to go down to the streams to pick up their protozoa-infested water. "See? It's all natural" *holds up bucket*
I think I really want it to be Christmas. Like....right now.
It's actually starting to feel and smell like winter this year. I may not like the cold, but I like a warm winter even less....if that makes any sense at all...which I'm sure it doesn't.
I'M GOING TO THE MEDIEVAL FAIRE ON THURSDAY!!!! *does little jig* I am such a medieval fantasy geek but yet I've never been to a medieval faire before. I mean, seriously, it goes against my religion. Katie told me about those guys that are called casanovas or whatever. I don't know how I feel about them. I'm wondering if maybe I should carry my knife when I go. Just so if some weirdo tries to peck me on the cheek I can just shank him. HAHAHAHAhahahahaaaaa....just kidding. But--no...seriously.
In other news, Gandalf died today.
Plus, my mom killed our TV.
And my kitten left a present in my closet earlier.
Not to mention, I'm obviously running out of material here so I think I'll bid thee adieu. So...uh, yeah....adieu. Now, shoo! Off with ye, ya pestilence!

| Well, as scary as this feels. I've returned to Xanga!! Yeah!! Why is that? Because sometimes I just want to blog crazily. I've tried to blog on myspace but that felt almost...too exposed. "Your network is 9,000,000,000,000,000,00000000000...." Whoa there. And...anybody can see this?
However, right now I can't remember if that's hidden or not when your profile is private. Which, BY THE WAY, is completely UNTRUE. When your profile is private, anybody can see your age, location, and gender. How messed up is that? Oh yeah, that's real private. It hid all of my favorite movies and bands--now they'll never be able to figure out who I am!

Hi America. Are you as tired as I am?
Man, the insanity of some of the people in this country absolutely amazes me. You know they've started to blame the Lebanon-Israel situation on Bush? It was only a matter of time before they said it. Evidently--are you listening?--every issue or supposed "crisis" we've ever had in this country or in the world for that matter...can be traced back to either George W. Bush or his father. "STOP THE PRESSES!! We've figured out what causes global warming!"
Don't get me wrong though, people. I'm really not happy with Bush right now either. He's lettin' people walk all over him. We could have won this war years ago with our hands tied behind our backs, but sadly our president is trying to fight a war like Kerry wanted to: a "kinder, gentler war."
*cries in frustration* There's no such thing, Mr. Kerry! There are no rules in war, New york times! I can tell you right now how you fight a war. You make the enemy so weak, so tired, so scared that they never want to touch you again! "What, bully-poke America again? Nu-uh. Not after what they did to us last time." Why are our boys over there? This is a modern war. We have weapons that could end this war for us right now without any of our soldiers having to fire a single shot. I am so tired of our country being pushed around. We're so afraid of "upsetting" someone. We have to be so "tolerant." Bush wanted to let those middle eastern companies run our ports because he wanted to show the people of Iraq and the surrounding countries that we didn't have any hard feelings towards them.
Sometimes I'm so scared for this country. I'm afraid that people like Howard Dean, Robert Byrd, Ted Kennedy, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, and all those other empty suits in congress are going to cause other world leaders to look at America and think "they are nothing but a pebble to step on."
Man........how did I get into this rant again? I have no idea.
I really want to see 'Pirates.' Very badly, indeed.
I remembered a great cartoon line today. It popped into my head when my cat decided to walk across my leg like a bridge and claw my leg to death. "bad ole puddy tat" I really miss being a kid. Everything was ridiculously simple, but you didn't realize it. It was like as though we were constantly involved in something epic, something big. All of our "conflicts" were so pathetic but I remember regarding them as something pivotal or even devastating. We would argue and then the next day we'd forget what it was about. I think we should argue like we did when we were kids. (Taylor to naive friend)--"Tell Melinda that we're not friends anymore. I never want to speak to her again!"
(Me to naive friend)-"Fine! Be a big brat! I don't care"
Next morning
Taylor--"Hey, Melinda, wanna play four square?"
Me--"Uh....okay."
Good times....good times...
